Doogee
is one of the most active Chinese smartphone OEMs at the moment, they keep on
releasing new devices, as well as teasing upcoming ones.
According
to the available info, Doogee is working on the Homtom HT6 handset, which will
sport a huge 6,250mAh battery on the inside. This phone will feature a 5.5-inch
720p (1280 x 720) display, and 16GB of internal storage. We still don’t know
how much RAM will be included in there, but by the looks of it, this will be a
mid-range smartphone. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit
octa-core processor, which is probably the most used processor in the world at
the moment considering more or less every China-based OEM has released (or will
release) a smartphone fueled by this chip. The Homtom HT6 will also feature a
13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and the dual-LED, dual tone flash will be
available next to it. The 5-megapixel camera will be available up front for all
your selfie needs. The device will be 9.9mm thick according to the info we
received, which is not bad considering it will sport that huge 6,250mAh battery
on the inside.
Interesting enough, the Homtom HT6 will also offer fast charging capability.
MediaTek’s Pump Express is able to charge certain batteries up to 75% in just
30 minutes according to the company, but the info we’ve received didn’t specify
how much will it take to charge up this huge unit inside the Homtom HT6. It is
also worth noting that the device will sport a metallic frame, and that it will
ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It costs $139.99 on GearBest Order Now
